Delete your account
How to permanently delete your Capvoro account and data
This is permanent. Deleting your account immediately and irreversibly removes your data. There is no recovery period and no way to undo this action.
Steps to delete your account
- Log in to your Capvoro account at capvoro.app (or open the Capvoro app).
- Go to your Profile page.
- Scroll to the account section and select Delete Account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box to confirm.
- Your account and data are deleted immediately.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed immediately, with no retention period:
- Your login credentials and account record
- Your profile (username, bio, avatar link)
- Your course progress, completed lessons, and capstone completions
- Your task submissions and saved artifacts
- Your community posts, comments, and votes
- Your friends, follows, and notifications
- Your portfolio shares
What may be retained
Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention or financial record-keeping (e.g. payment transaction records held by our payment processors for tax and accounting compliance). This retained data is not linked to your deleted account profile and is not used to re-identify you.
